It comes with the chipboard case you see in the photos, and I'm listing it with NO RESERVE. The neck is straight with comfortable action- I'm including photos showing the string height at the 5th and 12th frets. The top is nice and flat and the bridge is firmly attached with no gap. ![]() Most of the finish wear is on the sides so the front and back are pretty clean. There are some small nicks and dings here and there but no cracks or repairs. The guitar appears to be all original and it's in nice shape for its age. I would actually say that this one sounds and plays better than some Japanese FG-180's I've played, having better volume and lower action. From what I have read online these early Taiwan guitars are about as highly regarded as their Japanese counterparts. And while it looks just like a Japanese made Yamaha it's marked Made in Taiwan on the back of the head.
